One Toy to rule them all

     Or at least keep the boys from even noticing anything else.  Here we are Sunday night and their stockings are mostly untouched except for the stuff we've pulled out (quiet games for church and their movies). Why?

     Because of the TRAIN!!!!

     Not that all has been peaceful, Ben of course is free to play with whichever train he chooses but heaven forbid Simon to touch his train. And nobody, not even daddy is allowed to reconfigure his train, it must always be structured the same.

     But his first waking words each morning since christmas have been "Play Trains?"

We'll have three little boys running this place.

I go walkin... After Naptime...

So I was sitting at home afterwork, reading the paper, and I glance over to see Simon trying to stand and walk on his own.

I pulled out my new phone and here is what I got.


I was resting the phone on the couch to try and hide it from him, that's the cause of the wierd sounds towards the beginning.

He Walks!! (for real this time)

I guess someone got a little jealous of all the attention big brother received this week.  Yesterday the 2nd, Da was over at her sister Chelle's house and Brother in law Mike asked if Simon was walking yet.

Da said, nope this is as close to walking as he comes and stood Simon up, expecting him to be willing to walk holding onto her fingers.  But nope, the little show-off took three steps on his own.

So after the April Fools joke, here is video evidence that Simon is finally walking at 17 months. (today is his 17 month birthday.)
