Rub for good luck

You all might recall the curly haired little blonde two year old on the left.

After a rather traumatic encounter with the hair clippers. Where the trauma and resulting stuggle resulted in a few goofs that required the following result.

After it was all over though he's decided he likes having a rubby head.

Cute! Grandma Susan will be sad, but I love the rubby head. I need to get Emma's hair cut, but I'm afraid and apparently for good reason (as this post shows). After all, buzz cuts and girls don't really go together. And dirk, no comments about Cyndi Lauper or Britney Spears...buzz cuts and girls DON't work, ever.

I love the new haircut! cute that he calls it a rubby head... that's what I do to Chuck after he buzzes his hair, and now I have a cool new word to use for it, lol! :)

Demi Moore made the shaved look work in G.I. Jane.

And the term rubby head is a Melinda creation more commonly used in reference to my military haircuts.

Carpet head. Or Fuzzy Wuzzy, that is what Jace calls it. I love those haircuts, it makes it so easy to clean, comb, and straighten the hair on my boys. You will notice none of them have one. They aren't agreeing lately.

He had such darling curls! But he's cute with a rubby head too. If you ask him, he'll give you some rubby (he rubs his head, and then pats you).

He looks great! It will be alot cooler for summer too. After Coleman's birthday, we're doing the same thing!! Low Maintainance!

Looks good! Although it makes him look older. Where does the time go?

I love the haircut! He looks so much more grown up, and think if all the time you'll save in doing his hair. I have often wondered what Little Hema would look like with a buzz!
