Today the boys got haircuts.

It's blurry but note the massive rooster tail Simon is sporting.

The sides are gone now to start on the long stuff on top.
Any trip to this barbershop ends with a Balloon! Notice the gel spiked hair.

And a chance to play on the slide!
He really looks different after a haircut. His big Porter family cheeks dominate when he doesn't have hair to better frame his face.

And this is Ben's turn
Looks like a style out of the 80's, long on top shaved on the sides. But no tail, so it's NOT a mullet!
Ben and his naturally spiky hair!
He looks so much different, but notice the naturally spiky hair, no gel needed.
And Simon again at bedtime: Happy boy gets a drink of Milk!

And we finish with a prayer before sleep.
He just started doing this the other night. He's obviously been listening to Ben's prayers and a couple nights ago started grunting after I finished praying with Ben. So I went to his crib and gave him a simple prayer and he repeated it back like big brother was doing. And of course they both have "Amen" down pat.

And it was even cuter live!
It still is cute!!! Both of their haircuts look great!
Darling photos with darling boys in them!
The hair cuts look great! Don't they always look older with their hair cut? I just gave my boys haircuts this week too.
Cute boys! Where do you take them to get their hair cut? It looks fun! How are you doing Melinda? I never see you anymore. I sure do miss book club.
oh my heavens - Simon looks like a totally different kid now - and not a baby any more!! both haircuts look great - what would we do without cell phones?
The place is called Cookie Cutters, the one we go to is behind the new Texas Roadhouse Restaurant near Walmart. It's fun, the kids sit in car or plane shaped seats, and watch a DVD while getting their hair cut.
