He flies! He laughs! Simon has the greatest baby belly laugh.

Camo Boy

Ben decided that it would be a great idea to wear his fleece camouflage jacket in August. In honor of summer, however, he is still trying to play in the sprinklers. The neighbor's sprinklers were spraying over the fence, and he went to cool off in the spray.

More Child Literacy

We start 'em reading young. Simon enjoys bonking himself on the head with a book. He even drools on them! That's great practice for college, when you fall asleep on your textbook, hoping to absorb information by osmosis, and wake up to find that the pages are all wet and the dampness has caused the ink to stick to your cheek and you have to wash your face to get your textbook off. Not that I'm speaking from personal experience or anything.

Ben's letters

Ben gets a kick out of finding letters he recognizes in his books. As far as he's concerned, it's as fun as finding the ball, or the dog, or the bird in the pictures. He likes finding the "o" or the "t" or the "s". This makes the fridge fun too!

I didn't get it on video, but sometimes when he tries to put the letter back on the fridge, he has it facing the wrong way so the magnet doesn't stick. When I tell him to turn it around, he turns himself in a circle and then tries to put the letter on the fridge again. That's worth a couple giggles.
