But anyway, here was the fun part. We put Ben on the smallest pony they had. It was the size of a St. Bernard.
As the horse started to walk, Ben held on to my finger so tightly that it turned purple. He had the most intent look on his face the whole time, and I wasn't sure he was enjoying it. But when it stopped, he broke into a huge smile and said, "mo." He was not one bit impressed that he had to wait because there were other kids in line. We got him on the pony for a second ride, and that time I didn't hold onto him at all. It was so darn cute!
Dirk, Ben will love the pony rides just as much next summer when you can come. And you can put Simon on his first pony next year!

What a fun day for Ben. Is he still talking about the horsey?
"Yelling noodle."
That is the funniest thing I've read today.
I am sure he had a great time. Jace is the same with a real horse now. Don't leave him alone, but with someone the big horse it great!!
