At one point, Ben was freaking out because I couldn't figure out what he wanted. I finally found the toy he wanted and exclaimed, "Oh! You want that toy!" Ben agreed. This toy's permanent name is "dattoy."
Yes...we experienced almost this exact thing last week. Simon had this toy and Ben was freaking out and kept saying "dattoy". I couldn't really tell what he was crying about at first. But then, he yanked the toy away from Simon and stopped crying immediately. Poor kid! I think it's so cute how he gives it kisses though! :)
well now you know what dattoy means so it shouldn't cause a melt down in the future. He is a cute little boy. We have one of him kissing a monkey pretty good too.
I had a great visit with my boys this last two days - I do believe Melinda will sigh a BIG sigh of relief from Ben can actually tell her what he wants ... Ben was full of grins for grandma and Simon fell asleep on my shoulder just before I left - 20 minutes of snuggles!! WOW!
Not only that but we bottled 8 qts of tomatoes and 6qts of grape juice! YEAH!
