We love Thanksgiving Point. Last week, we went to the Children's Discovery Garden for our first time. It was pretty chilly that day, so we had the entire Garden to ourselves. There are fountains in the Garden for kids to play in. I wisely decided it was too cool to play in the water. Very wise. So there was no need to bring Ben a change of clothes, since we would not be playing in the water anyway.
Ben rode home in a diaper, wrapped in Grandma's jacket, with goosebumps all over his bare legs. But he sure had a great time!

Awesome! You are right, we'll have to come down and go to the gardens -- Goose is off school all next week... have any plans then?! It should be warm enough to "safely" go wading then :-)
I haven't been there this season since they put the water in- too cute!! I have a vivid mental picture of a shivering child, but happy child- well maybe not so happy when he was cold... ha ha
He was loving it though - whats a little cold to a healthy happy boy? I'm just glad you only live ten minutes from Thanksgiving Point.
By the time we pulled him out, his jeans were so heavy with water that all of Elmo on the back of the diaper was showing. He'd have been very excited if he could have seen "Melmo!" It was fun.
