The Gardens Again

These are more photos from our first trip to the Children's Discovery Garden. I posted the fountain photos earlier in the week. This is a beautiful place, and Ben had a great time. He got to get dragged away from the fountain, play on the stage, get carried away from the fountain, see the maze, get pulled away from the fountain, see the fish in the pond, and finally, he got to play in the fountain.

Simon wasn't all that impressed with the Garden. The most exciting thing he got to do at the Gardens was empty his bowels. Twice. Great timing, son. In this photo, he gets to wear his hat over a blanket on his head. He is growing some hair, but it's still at the peach fuzz stage, so this kept his head warm.



Ben is less than happy in this photo because Kristen is preventing him from getting back out to the fountain. He's standing in a maze made out of tall hedges. Pretty cool stuff.


This is the Bug Stage, which is a small ampitheater. It sure is a cute little place. Too bad Ben is too young to sit still for a show. I guess we'll have to get a membership again when he's a bit older.


And here I posed Ben next to some beautiful foliage. I must be doing something wrong with my camera, because it was much prettier in real life.
