Maybe the dinosaurs are just too big for him to process. They have full-size replicas of brontosaurus skeletons. Susan was especially impressed at the giant turtle skeleton that was 116 feet from flipper tip to flipper tip. Notice the size of the foot we're standing by in this photo; it belongs to a brontosaurus.
Benji was not interested in holding still for photos. He ran laps around the exhibits, sure that if he just looked hard enough, he would find a fish. Simon was pretty mellow.
Just before the exit, there is an area where the kids can play "archaeologist" and discover dinosaur bones in the sand. Susan noticed that there wasn't a sign saying, "kids only" and happily joined Benji in the dirt.

How fun! I don't blame Susan, I would've gotten right in there and played with the kids too! Melinda, you look so cute with your hair and hat like that. Your hair is getting long!
Benji really liked this part of the dinosaur museum. Like Da said, I was fascinated. I told Da she needed to take Benji to the farm...he would love the interaction with the live animals!
We all get in the sand to dig for bones. When we went on the girls trip last year I got a picture of my mom in there with Makae and Courtney
Good for you, Susan! While you were digging for bones, I was counting caterpillars at Capitol Reef with the Davis kids. We grandmas know how to have fun!
